Today I have the honor of sharing a picture book pitch on the wonderful Susanna Hill’s blog as a part of her “Would You Read It Wednesday” series of posts.

Readers have the chance every Wednesday on Susanna’s blog to see a new book pitch (a short blurb about the plot of a book, which is used to entice agents, editors, and eventually readers to pick up the full manuscript and read it). Susanna graciously offers the chance for authors to get feedback on these pitches to find out what is working and what isn’t, and one lucky author each month has their pitch read and critiqued by editor Erin Molta!

You may recall Susanna’s blog from a contest I participated in back in December – (mine is #11) – and she is regularly offering great opportunities like the holiday contest and Wednesday pitches to unknown and pre-published authors like myself.

I’d love to hear what people think of my pitch, both the good and the bad!  Stop by Susanna’s page and let me know … would you read it??  (and why!)  My pitch is in the 2nd half of her post, below the delicious photos of chocolate peanut butter ice cream and raspberries!
